Sometime ago when I was in London, I made some extreme headwear for a medieval ball at the Victoria and Albert Museum. It was fantastic! I made my headpiece from some 40s? lace fabric, bias cut silk dupion roses (salvaged from a costume wedding headdress), a satin covered headband, two coat hangers, and some masking tape. The result can be seen below.
A few months later I bumped into a captivating folk musician called Jessie, who was going through a white/pale phase, so I passed the headband onto her-
