This image shows the development of my pattern for the Hannah Doll. It has been such a long process! But I have the pattern nearly as I want it, and have developed a couple of spin-offs which I am looking forward to sharing. The dolls are about 65cm tall, and made from a tea-dyed quilters cotton, which is just that little bit softer and better quality than calico. I have a lot of fun with the hair and hand embroider their faces and use needle-sculpture and hand-embroidery on the bodies.
