The first photo is of one of my early rag dolls (I have since changed the bust pattern!), can you see the material crossover? Mum made curtains, and a pillow in the same fabric. (I think the brand name is something beautiful like "Kind Hearts Collection"? which I adopted in my brand dreamings as a teenager!
The second photo is about 18 years old, and captures my sister Jessica and I. When I was 13 or 14 those were my bedroom curtains, and I took them down, and made one side into a lovely box-pleated skirt. You can just make out behind my head the stripes, and floral columns. I had the big florals hidden in the middle of the pleat, and the stripes shown. My doll is sitting in front of the pillow version, which I use now in my bedroom.
Beautiful! The hair is interesting on your early Ragdoll in the first image. I really love how you do the hair on your latest versions. :)
